The best car mats are bespoke models made from durable materials such as rubber or all-weather material, with non-slip backing and easy to clean, depending on your requirements for comfort, protection or maintenance effort.
Mercedes-Benz car mats can be cleaned differently depending on the material: simply rinse rubber mats with water and a mild detergent and scrub with a brush, while carpet mats should be machine washed or treated with a vacuum cleaner and specialised carpet cleaners. For heavily soiled carpet mats, a gentle hand wash with mild detergent and water may also be advisable. Be sure to let the mats dry completely before placing them back in the vehicle.
Rubber car mats are often the better choice, especially in environments with wet or muddy conditions, as they are waterproof, highly durable and easy to clean.
