  • Does not fit on the roof rails without further adjustment!

    Unfortunately, support from a Mercedes workshop was necessary here. The problem is that the clamping arms do not open wide enough, at least in the version delivered from the factory. There is a hidden Allen screw that can be used to increase the travel; it is concealed behind a rubber cover. Unfortunately, nothing about this is mentioned in the instructions. In my opinion, the as-delivered condition of the base carrier is not suitable for a layperson. It would only be if these screws were described in the instructions. In addition, markings on the roof rails would be desirable; measuring with a tape measure is somewhat old-fashioned. But good support from Kunzmann to the extent possible.
