  • Carrier good in use, installation takes some getting used to

    Once mounted, you hardly notice the carriers while driving (unloaded) (-> probably due to the design), and when used/loaded they of course do their job - so far, great, BUT: the installation with the 'quick clamps' and, so to speak, the 'factory' rather fiddly locks (quality?) seems suboptimal to me - in my opinion this could have been solved better; not least, the same applies to the prescribed fixed-point mounting used on the B-Class; all this at a fairly high price that is typical of the brand. In summary: the quality of the carriers themselves is top, the installation less so - for that, the price is hefty and does not necessarily reflect the quality (-> locks) -> overall, however, it deserves 4 stars.
