360°: Using a directly coupled ultrasound body sound emitter, the curved surface of the housing is set in motion, creating a 360° radius of effect! This method has been employed in the past for applications such as submarines (sonar) but is entirely novel in the field of marten repellent. Ultrasound waves propagate forward much like light, meaning that sound is hardly perceptible behind obstacles or from the sides. With the M2700, sound waves are emitted in all directions, providing all-around marten protection.

Aggressive Sinusoidal Tones: The M2700 generates pulsating, highly intense sinusoidal ultrasound tones. These aggressive tones are akin to the natural warning and distress calls of wild animals and are found extremely bothersome by martens, thus, they tend to avoid them. The tones pulsate with amplitude variation, preventing the animals from becoming accustomed. Additionally, the applied pulse technology results in extremely low power consumption (less than 2mA).
