The sporty Mercedes-AMG wristwatch is not only an instrument for reliably displaying the time, but rather a genuine design statement that meets the highest standards. Inside the watch is the Swiss Ronda 6004 quartz movement with subsidiary seconds, while the character of the timepiece is particularly defined by the AMG design philosophy. The multi-part case design impresses with its overlapping elements, sweeping surfaces and tapering towards the case back, revealing something unexpectedly new from every angle. The high-performance design is further emphasised by a high-gloss polished black ceramic bezel with fine red outlines, while the combination of titanium and stainless steel gives the case a quality weight and optimum wearing comfort. Looking through the protective sapphire crystal, the sporty, clean 3D-effect dial catches the eye. It features twelve hand-applied numerals made from a mixture of ceramic and Super-LumiNova® luminous material. The raised elements charge when exposed to light, causing the entire dial to glow in the dark. This technology is known as Globelight XP© and was patented in Switzerland. The finely polished AMG logo provides the perfect finishing touch to the dial. The watch's rubber strap also ensures enhanced wearing comfort. Its folding clasp is designed so that the other end of the strap runs inside, eliminating the need for strap loops.
