The Audi Junior Seat i-Size is a versatile child seat with a detachable seat base and backrest. It is approved in accordance with UN ECE R 129 for children between 100 and 150 cm in height and is recommended for ages approximately 3.5 to 12 years.

The seat and backrest can be separated from each other, so that the seat can be used without the backrest for children taller than 138 cm. In accordance with UN ECE R 129, the complete seat with backrest must be used for children between 100 and 138 cm tall.

The seat is secured using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt and vehicle-specific anchorage points, some of which are available as optional extras, in accordance with the i-Size standard. AUDI AG generally recommends using the seat with the backrest to ensure the best possible protection; the version without the backrest should only be used in exceptional cases, for example if the headrest of the child seat cannot be fully extended. The seat may be used as a booster seat without the backrest if the child is between 138 and 150 cm tall.

The ergonomic, easily adjustable headrest can be individually adjusted to the size of the child and, with the integrated upper belt guide, ensures that the belt is always in the correct position. The V-shaped backrest offers sufficient space for the back and shoulders, regardless of the child's height. The cover is removable and washable. The Audi infant seat i-Size meets the requirements of UN ECE R 129.
